The very best religion is NO religion at all. I can’t think of one which is centred around a deity or pantheon of deities which isn’t ultimately a self-serving scam.

IMO, certainly not a religion that worships a God. There are some eastern religions (Deisms) which place little importance on the supernatural, but stress personal responsibility for one's thoughts, intentions, and actions.
