You can’t tell me this is not the direct result of religion. Religion is culture and culture is religion. You can’t separate them. Whether all Muslims do this sort of thing or not, belief in Islam drives it and there is far too little protest by so-called peaceful Muslims. IMO there is no such thing as a peaceful Muslim who does not publicly protest this abomination loudly and often.

That men have done it does not make it acceptable by the majority of society. Cite some cases in modern Western society where a father was brought to trial with enough evidence to convict but was found not guilty by reason of "honor." Lois
