I’ve explained how philosophy is the part of science where the questions are, a few times. I don’t feel compelled to retire repeat that.
But how does what you’ve written relate to this:
That’s why when reading stuff I write, you should never forget I identify as an Earth Centrist - Earth is my ultimate touchstone.
From my reading and interactions with philosophers, it sure seems to me they believe their Minds are the ultimate touchstone.
I don’t know because I don’t know what an “ultimate touchstone” is.
Okay, fair enough.
Thanks for your response, especially in light of what I just got through posting at Medium.com.
“Ultimate touchstone” would be my “center of reality”.
Like “Physical Reality ~ Human Mind divide” - there’s nothing more foundational,
the buck stops here sort of state of mind.
For instance, do you ever contemplate the partnership going on between your physical biological body, and that voice that is always chattering away within our heads, (and making promises it can’t keep)?
Sometimes that partnership is between our minds and what’s happening within our hearts, or just as often, down near our cojones.
Have I good night my friend.
