Socialism, Christianism and humanism

It seems to me Robespierre was for the “petite propriété” (small property?), like Rousseau. This is still socialism/communism

I am really wondering about your definition of socialism/communism.

social-democratism: [social-democraty] a democratic welfare state that incorporates both capitalist and socialist practices (Merriam-Webster)

socialism: a political and economic theory of social organization which advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole. (Oxford languages)

communism: a theory or system of social organization in which all property is owned by the community and each person contributes and receives according to their ability and needs. (Oxford languages)

There is a continumm I suppose between social-democratism ↔ socialism ↔ communism

“Comme souvent, ta propreté morale se paye d’une absurdité intellectuelle. Peser ensemble des citrons et des oranges est absurde. Le morts passés et futurs du communisme n’invalident pas les livres qui dessinent l’hypothèse communiste, parce qu’un fait est un citron et une pensée une orange. Un citron n’invalide pas une orange.” Histoire de ta bêtise (2019) François Bégaudeau

English (by DeepL): “As is often the case, your moral cleanliness comes at the price of intellectual absurdity. Weighing lemons and oranges together is absurd. The past and future deaths of communism do not invalidate the books that outline the communist hypothesis, because a fact is a lemon and a thought an orange. A lemon does not invalidate an orange.”

I believe that a balanced “socioeconomic system” is the most practical and manageable.
