The science fiction part is not right, overdone at times, but this movie gets evolution right. It references our ancestor Lucy accurately and contrasts our instincts from the jungle with modern problems. Cinematography is beautiful with flashes of animal behavior that illuminate what the characters are experiencing.
I picked it off the Netflix list then realized I had seen it already. Worth it.
