You know, I might have said “translation”. She didn’t seem to understand that there was an original language of the writers, and it had gone through translations and changes.

Yes, the Old Testament was originally in Hebrew and the New Testament was in Greek. However, if King James didn’t like how his translators translated it, he had them write it to say what he wanted, which isn’t actually translating.
