Back when I spent a lot more time arguing directly conspiracy theorists (the bad kind), this is most often where the conversation would go and then die. They couldn’t defend their science, not scientifically, so they attacked my sources and my ability to read and understand those sources. So, why am I agreeing with it when Neil says it? Am I just “following” him because I like him?
Nope. You can’t have science without scientists, but you can have scientific facts without anyone. That facts of science that we have discovered will still be here after we have gone extinct. Anyway, most of you know this. whatever.
