Celebrating science and honoring those who achieve in science doesn’t get the attention and public accolades that are afforded to achievements in sports and entertainment, yet scientific achievements are our best hope for a better world. So I hope that this type of award show becomes as grand and standard as the Grammy’s, the Academy Awards, and Sports Hall of Fame shows.

The reason these award shows are so popular is that they appeal so much to those in the lower sector of IQs--and that represents a lot of people. Lois
