What about the fact that Martin had a backpack full of women’s jewelry and a screwdriver?
I wanted to clear this point up. Martin was, at one point (at school, I believe) found with these items with the police describing the screwdriver as a " burglary tool." But he did NOT have them on the night he was shot. He did, however, have some (not all) of the ingredients for a street drug known as "Lean" or "Purple Drank" which causes paranoia and fits of violence. He also had Twitter postings discussing the making of this drug. Combine this with what Rachel Jeantel said she said to Martin about Zimmerman possibly being a gay rapist and you get some interesting possibilities.
How could Zimmerman know any of that, even assuming it's true?
All Zimmerman could possibly know hat night was that there was a black male walking through "his" neighborhood and he was going to stop it. So he armed himself--just in case he might have had to "stand his ground," while he "protected" his neighborhood from a black invasion. He knew absolutely nothing else about Trayvon Martin but that he was a black male. That was all it took.
