My point exactly. This isn’t just my personal opinion. Now it IS news to me that the various sports governing bodies determine what will be worn. That in itself sounds pretty dumb, but maybe there are reasons for it. Regardless, women should protest. And I did noticed one woman said her bikini gives her a wider range of motion. Really? Then why don’t soccer players wear bikinis? Why not men athletes (non-swimming)? I think she’s just fooling herself. In any event, thanks for showing those links. This IS a serious topic and hopefully women will stand up for themselves and not allow these governing bodies to force them into what to wear. Even the notion of wearing a skirt, which was mentioned in one of the articles, is stupid, similar to what I’ve been saying. I’m hoping these women athletes was to be perceived as athletes first, women second, and sexy women somewhere way down the list.
