It occurred to me yesterday that the premise of this thread is sexist. Cuthbert is railing about women athletes dressing provocatively while ignoring men athletes who do the same. Maybe he has never watched swimming or diving competitions or seen any of the nude calendars featuring world-famous athletes.
Frankly, I think he’s being rather prudish. A few years ago some Austin, TX, musicians posed nude for a calendar to raise money for the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians. I know a few of them and while I enjoyed the photos I did not lose respect for the people who posed nude. Get over it, Cuthbert. Many of us can enjoy seeing women dressed in scanty clothes and maintain respect for them. As I stated earlier, the problem isn’t the women and how they dress, the problem is you. Stop blaming women for your faults.
