Carrier says punching a nazis in the face is justified and not fascism so whats your angle? Disagree with Carrier?

Was the north fascists to the south? Does ones position on nuclear power tell you on which end of the political spectrum they sit.? How to answer in your world of undefined terms such as " the left" and fascism.?

Violence is NEVER the answer.

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.

Returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars.

Violence is immoral because it thrives on hatred rather than love. It destroys community and makes brotherhood impossible. It leaves society in monologue rather than dialogue. Violence ends by defeating itself. It creates bitterness in the survivors and brutality in the destroyers.

When asked how is fascism defined you referred back to the blog - the use of violence to effect your political goals. You offer no challenge to this definition. No qualifications about moral dilemma are in here with Richard hard nosed on calling any violence used to stop the genocide in Gaza as fascism . Do you agree? How does this strict definition work out when we apply it to the US civil war?
