It is beyond me why anyone would continue to vote against their best interest and unless you are part of the 1% Republicans have no interest in you.

Sinclair Lewis long ago said Fascism will come to America holding a Bible and a Flag. The Repubs know as long as you pitch everything as a religious or patriotic cause the morons will follow. Part and parcel of that is to use fear. That's why their propaganda machine constantly hammers on Islam, (Obama is a Muslim), Abortion, Immigration, etc.
