Political Optics

Biden practices responsible governance with the people’s hard-earned taxes.
But that concept is alien to you. You cannot even articulate the purpose of responsible governance, can you?

p.s. Biden has created an economic structure that has created almost full employment and an additional 12 million jobs becoming available for job choice.

Fast Facts: Record Firsts in President Biden’s First Year

JANUARY 19, 2022•STATEMENTS AND RELEASES

President Biden and Vice President Harris delivered results for the American people in their first year in office. The President and Vice President made history growing our economy, addressing the climate crisis, and building a judiciary and government that represents America. Most diverse Administration in history – most women, people of color, disability, LGBTQ+, first generation American, and first-generation college graduates.

Biden is just a placeholder?

OK, who is your favorite innovator and risk taker with the people’s hard-earned taxes?

I mean the freedom for regular people to make money for themselves is a big aspect of liberalism. A liberal society could not even exist without that freedom.

He doesnt disagree with you here One guy in his follow up response

Most of those accomplishments are due to the economy opening back up, not anything Biden did. You could say Biden helped by not impeding the reopening of the economy, but it was already underway when he took office. The only things on that list he is responsible for are appointing a diverse cabinet and appointing more judges – which doesn’t help most Americans.

It’s a good thing there is only “oneguy” like you.

You’ll be remembered as “thatoneguy” who had absolutely nothing constructive to contribute and was a perfect example of a “contrary”.

A contrary;
a person perversely inclined to disagree or to do the opposite of what is expected or desired… :smirk:

“he is sulky and contrary where his work is concerned”

Ok

I think that my opinion about Biden is more balanced.

I agree with Thatonguy that Biden is not for much in the economic growth and unemployment decrease, with all the benefits for poor people.

The Federal Reserve policies have much more impact.

But Biden has effectively helped to the economic growth. At least, he has not impaired it.

The US president polices have a very marginal impact and many economists think that economy will know a very difficult time next year. If that’s the case, Biden will be no more responsible that he is for the 2021 growth.

But I don’t underestimate his other successes.

His investment in the ecological fight is very precious and should help everyone.

His effort for favoring diversity is important for civil peace in USA.

His rebuilding of the judiciary system is must be written to his credit.

These two sentences are contradictory

And in all those years Biden hasn’t accomplished one thing. He is nothing but a sack of bland mush.

OK, who is your favorite innovator and risk taker with the people’s hard-earned taxes?

Second request. Are you going to deflect again?

Biden looks lost at the UN

Biden has held many offices before he was President. The list is a lifetime of accomplishments, not just his recent effect on the economy.

Okay. True about the freedom to express oneself and get rewarded for your skills. But I think you are mixing economics with politics in some way that I don’t. It’s probably too much to unpack in this forum.

“Making money as we do is a liberal value”? Please. All it does is feed the greed of the wealthy and greedy corporation. That is not a liberal value. The wealthy and greedy corporations need to pay more tax, based on their wealth and everyone else should pay less passed on their income. Right now, the wealthy and greedy corporations get out of paying their fair share of taxes.

No they aren’t. But you have to be willing to think nuance.
It’s you Otto who seems to embrace extremes.

Although that’s just guessing, since you’ve never been a good-faith participant in our discussion, it’s hard telling what you actually think, let along why.
What I’ve gathered from your time here at CFI is that it’s the game playing you are after.

Oh, those optics again. It doesn’t matter anymore what a person accomplishes as long as he looks good doing it.

That is what Trump uses to bilk his public from their hard earned moneys.

If you were one of that crowd , he just insulted everybody present.

You look lost in life altogether… :scream:

You could explain in good faith why they are not instead of wasting your time stamping your feet

Ok to have the right and freedom to make more money than you will ever need in your life, but is it not OK for a woman to have the right and freedom to her body and decide what she needs in her life??

The out of control corporations we see now only exist in liberal societies. Our liberal laws make this possible.

I don’t know of any in my lifetime. I just know Biden is as middle of the road as they come.

Historically untrue, sorry.

Some ancient Roman magnates accumulated level of wealth you have no idea. And it was material wealth in lands and gold and so.

The great German and Italian banks of the Middle age and renaissance were very powerful. The Medici became princes of Florence.
