Oldest Copy of the Koran Predates Mohammed

Obviously, this means that it’s a prophetic work and thus proof that Islam is the one true religion! http://news.discovery.com/history/religion/fragments-of-worlds-oldest-koran-may-predate-muhammad-150901.htm

The Times of London reported that radiocarbon dating carried out by experts at the University of Oxford says the fragments were produced between the years 568 A.D. and 645 A.D. Muhammad is generally believed to have lived between 570 A.D. and 632 A.D.
Seems that would be well within the margin of error for carbon dating.

Yes and the ink hasn't been tested so it's also possible that it's a later forgery, and there's always the chance that the dates given for Mohammed's life are wrong and that he lived earlier or later than is presently believed. Still, as a religious document from around the birth of a religion it's pretty interesting.

You have to admire the scientists for this. They’re literally risking their lives putting out statements like theirs.

I find it hard to discuss religion of the past with the religious mindset of today’s thinking. Some thoughts, Islam, like Christianity is made of several religions. For example, resurrection was Egyptian. The judgement is Egyptian with a Christian twist. The burial is Zoroastrian. The levels of heaven is of the older reincarnation religions such as Hindu.
To me it seems that all things civilized came from India. Religion to Egypt most likely came by Avaris, thus passing up the lands from Zoroastrian to RA. Europe being half Asian and its bread basket being Egyptian developed a different view of religion. The many leprosy plagues of Europe wiped out the Asian influence. The Roman religions were not suited for the Middle East with the old Vega backgrounds thus we got Islam.
Point being, the background for the backbone of Islam was always there from 1700 B.C. and before. It fits into the timeline of the Age of Deities, where the gods were no longer stars or animals and had evolved into human gods. Religions had to be updated to keep up with each other.
What I look for is Islam evolving from one of the Religions of the Children of Abraham starting around 1234 B.C. and becoming Islam as we know it today around 700 AD.
