Sorry, gotta give vent to the feelings of horror, fear, impotence and hopeless towards our future.
We have all these people that despise introspection or questioning one’s own motives and thinking.
Community is a bad word. Our natural environment is a point of derision. Regulations are demonized. It’s all so mad, mad, world stuff.
They believe the entire world should revolve around their own desires and dreams, or they feel persecuted and resentful.
They are owed everything, but possess no responsibility towards others.
Anything that goes wrong is someone else fault. No matter what the evidence tells all.
They believe they already know everything and don’t make mistakes.
Being told that one is wrong, is fighting words. Even when one knows damned well they are wrong and guilty.
The suggestion to learn from facts is taken as an insult and attack on one’s person, so is fair game for unbridled counter-attack.
No conception or interest in the concept of Fair Play.
For them “democracy” is for them. Others are resented.
The need to make everyone they don’t like a mortal enemy. Even when requiring totally made up grievances.
It’s horrifying totalitarian stuff. I don’t just toss around that word for the hell of it, that is the explicit desire of these gangs, who are being played by puppets by the deep pockets of the like of Kochs, Murdochs, and such willful masters of our universe.
The emptiness of this discussion board is an indication of how little stomach there is to offer anything to oppose willful ignorance and oligarch controlled puppets and mobs trying to take over control. And I’m totally and absolutely impotent to anything about it. So vent I must, now and then. 
and so on and so forth. These past decades of steady slide toward utter breakdown, it’s personal, didn’t need to be like this. Sure Biden comes in, still it’s going to be a very very rough ride.
And it was all so unnecessary, all those moments that, had they unfolded slightly differently, but we wanted all our toys and none were ever good enough, peddle to the metal and let her roar.
Simply recognizing fundament natural laws, and math, allowing all of us to absorb those lessons, to think about personal responsibility to community and Earth and our biosphere and how it got here. So much to learn that would have helped humanity get past this self-obsessed spoil brat burn it up stage we’ve never outgrown.
Spending time learning about Earth and appreciating why we depend on her good health, seems to me would have organically lead to a smaller, saner global humanity, one with a future in front of it.
Unless we are changing minds, we’ll never turn any of it around.
