In Europe, laws prohibe many speechs authorized in USA. Not only one may not promote genocide, but to profess racists opinion, call to murder, insult one person using his race or his gender, or his sexual orientation, or just diffaming or even insulting her publicly is forbidden by law.
Our freedom is much more restrictive than in US.
But to defend free speech is not advocating it. If one thing is sure is that yo_u cannot have a rule and make exceptions. If in the US, free speech has no limits, it is difficult to set one about one topic.
Imagine a limit is set and only one, against your ideas, which ever they are !
