Incorruptable bodies?

Doing some research I have stumbled upon the supposed bodies of saints which have not rotten despite no supposed preservation. The most famous of these bodies Is saint Bernadette whose organs were supposedly soft decades after here death. Now I wish to know if there is any explanation for this since bodies can’t stay the same way for decades.
