How can you see where there is no light?

Anyone live far south enough to see things under Sagittarius? There is a black hole there. You can’t see, well, you can, but it’s black. You can see two stars circling around it. Kinda cool.

 

It is so far distance from Sun and where living things is appear less than we can think.

So it’s an old link, but the article was still fascinating. Now I even know where to find this black hole. Just need to push some of those peacock feathers out of the way.
