I’m starting a new club for people interested in effective altruism, a rational approach to helping others. [Effective altruism - Wikipedia](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Effective_altruism)
We’ll discuss a range of things, from formal ethics to effectiveness and quantification. No experience necessary. If you’re curious, come out and learn something new. 🙂
We’ll be meeting at the Tenley-Friendship Library (next to the Tenleytown metro stop) from 4:30 to 5:30 on June 8. There will be donuts!
