That’s right you are wrong about Socialism. Socialism and Communism are not the same thing. Socialism the people own things and in Communism, the government does. Socialism is things like the fire department, the police department, Social Security for old age and disability, other safety nets, schools, health care (the U.S. doesn’t have this currently, but should), and anything else that is paid for by taxes. Democratic Socialism is a far better system then we have currently, where large greedy corporation run the country via Capitalism. Yes, Capitalism is a form of government and it is what the U.S. is functioning under along with a fascist dictator and ignorant people that confuse Socialism with Communism.
If we ” get rid of the police and fire departments” we will have anarchy. Anarchy leads to gangs, to tribal lords, to kings and ultimately one dictator; all come about with constant warfare, death and destruction. Are you with the Burn, Loot, Murder crowd?
There you go, so you do want socialism, but only the things that help you and not other things that you do not want such as health care for all, which technically would help you, but you are too afraid to have it for fear you will lose freedoms. Let me tell you something, you are not free under the dotard and his dictatorship and it will only get worse if he steals the election again.

ROFLMAO! Sorry separate but equal was overturned by Brown v Board of Ed. Separate but equal is not equal. You must have the same, not outdated crap for one group and uptodate stuff for another. It must all be the same, in education AND in a court of law. You cannot give those in power (White rich men) privilege while everyone else who is poor, a woman, or people of colour a different set of treatments.
There is no such thing as equality, except in the eyes of God or as we specify as under the law.
They used crap like that in Loving v Virginia to prevent people of different skin colours from marrying each other. They also used crap like that to keep LGBTQ-XYZ (any other letters they now have) from having marriage equality too. That god crap should never work in a court of law, because Church and State should stay separate, even RBG said that and it’s in the First Amendment. The law is not made up from the Bible. The Constitution is not the 10 Commandments. The U.S. is NOT a Xian Nation and NEVER was an Xian Nation. The Pledge of Allegiance and our money did not have any mention of God until the 1950s. This country was founded on Religious Freedom and that is what our Forefathers came here for- Religious Freedom, which also means none at all. Equality is what your country, society, community et al gives ALL it’s people, not some human created deity. Whatever the human created deity gives you is really what the society you live in gives you.
